I started in the financial industry acquiring my securities license accompanied with my Life, Health, Property Casualty Insurance license's.
I first started in SLC UT. back in 1985 building my first insurance agency, then we moved to Kirkland in the Seattle area and continued to build upon my success until I had over 100 agents in 5 states, WA, OR, ID, MT, and AK. In the mid 90's we moved to Texas. I had built 3 estate planning agencies, (San Antonio, Houston, and Galveston), when my wife passed away in 2006.
I closed my agencies and retired early at age 52. I traveled for a few years playing golf and practicing Wood, Bronze and Stone sculpture and photography. Really finding my way after my wife passed in 2006.
Wells Fargo Bank called me from Anchorage, AK. and offered me a position on their State Wide Management Team, and a opportunity to explore Alaska. I started in Anchorage and then spent the summer of '08 in Homer, Alaska. I was then promoted to a Business Relationship Manager position  in Sitka; I moved to Sitka, Alaska. bought a home and stayed there for 5 years. I took a few months personal leave in 2011 to help my mother out as my father passed, a choice experience. When I finished Wells Fargo offered me a great position in Hobbs NM. working with Joe Puckett, a long time BBM of 27years, I understand he's been promoted, area manager Lubbock Texas.
I tried a position as a Licensed Business Banker with Key Bank, NA. in Anacortes WA. This did not turn out to be what was presented to me so I moved back to Wells Fargo as they offered me a great position as a Senior Business Relationship Manager in Flagstaff, AZ. We are really enjoying living here in northern Arizona.
